Vitra Design Museum

Being a regular consumer of meerschweinchenreport you already know that we always keep an eye on vitra. So did we in August 2008 when they were celebrating their eye-catching Ampelphase 3 – Raumrot in Frankfurt am Main.

Now, the new VitraHaus created by no one less than Herzog & de Meuron had its Grand Opening on Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein during Art|41|Basel this June. Is there a better way to show all the goodness and geniality that come up with and inside of this building than to do it with a unique photo-essay? A photo-essay which understands all the great design examples as an invitation to play visually around with them? Just try to figure out the meaning of the last two sentences; and click this link! Or the following one that comes along as Grand Opening.

Award winning photographer Andreas Baier invites you into his visual world where horses still run free and men do what others only dream about. In short: this link is a must!
