Maurizio Cattelan, the man and the artist with a strong sense for intellectual interpretation, did it again. After confronting us with a kneeling and praying Adolf Hitler in 2001, after having killed – quite photorealistically – the holy father through a meteorite in 1999, Maurizio Cattelan is now, as it seems, in closure with the antique romans. Or may be not.

If you want to find out what this is all about you should better get yourself a fresh copy of Giancarlo Politi’s fascinating Flash Art magazine. As a person who was brought up among art and artists I know Flash Art magazine as long as I can remember and I can only strongly recommend reading it regularily – unless you’re only interessted in getting seen yourself in VIP-Lounges on art fairs.
