Yesterday, one of my great heroes of the art world passed away: Cy Twombly. He is regarded as the most important representative of a generation of artists who distanced themselves from Abstract Expressionism. Believe it or not, his early paintings, such as the one above, are worth millions of USDs. Needless to say that I wish to call one of them my very own.
