The most exciting party pendant Les Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie à Arles is the one given by Luc Hoffmann’s family out there deep in the Camargue.

The atmosphere is hot, dry and somewhat cool. And so is the music: The Gipsy Kings, living in Arles anyway, sit in the shadow and play their guitars as if nothing special. Everything and everybody is completely relaxed. Music, food, dance, music, food, dance, and so on:

If someone of our readers could figure out the Chinese photographer’s name we would be more than just happy! All we remember is that his work which was exhibited during the «Rencontres» was simply stunning.

The two photographers Guy Le Querrec and Franco Fontana were celebrating nothing but pure happiness. Was Franco kindly asked to leave his hands above Guy’s belt? Both have been freshly recognised as trusted holiday representatives and were featured on L’oeil de la Photographie.
